Ode to Needle's Eye
To help ring in the new year, I have written a poem about my first experience of KMS SG training on Needle's Eye.
Oh, Needle's Eye,
How you look so steep at first,
Though you really are not steep at all.
But when I try to carry fence on high
Your ungroomed powder
Makes me fall.
No not once,
Which would be bad enough,
But twice,
To start my day off rough.
Yes, the Women's Team ventured over to Needle's Eye for our first few runs on SG skis this season. After a few timid runs to shake out the cobwebs, the ladies started to experiment with tactics and speed. We will return to this venue next Tuesday to enact our revenge.
