From March 3rd until the 11th, 6 of the KMS womens team competed 3 GMC cup series in Quebec and Ontario, Canada. The first series, in Camp Fortune, QC, the girls competed in a slalom series against canadian province teams, as well as a couple division I college teams.
After the slalom series, we had a long and adventurous van ride to Collingwood, Ontario. Here, the girls competed in a GS series at Georgian Peaks and another slalom series at Devil's Glen. On the first day, Jocelyn Werle moved from bib 65 to 39th position. Jocelyn scored a 96. Allison Visconti moved from bib 25 to 15th position. Ali scored a 62; 12 points lower than her profile. Other results included Michelle Martin, 50th, Kelly Rowland 53rd and Jessica McNeil, 55th.
On the second day, Visconti moved from 25th to 19th. Kristie Ryan and Jocelyn Werle finished neck and neck at 42nd and 43rd. Martin 52, McNeil 53rd and Rowland at 54th.
On the days we had off the girls enjoyed walking through the Blue Mountain Village, doing recovery spins, and cooking family style meals.
Devils Glen slaloms kicked off to a great start. Visconti podiumed her first GMC cup, coming in 3rd place! Other results included Ryan in 30th, Werle 38th and Rowland 39th. On the 2nd day, Ryan was our first finisher coming in 21st, Martin was right behind her in 22nd. Werle came in 28th with Rowland behind her in 29th.

Camp Fortune, Georgian Peaks, Devil's Glen
From March 4th until the 11th, Ali Viscontie, Kristie Ryan, Kelly Rowland, Jessie McNeill, Jocelyn Werle and Michelle Martin are racing in Canadian FIS series. Tomorrow will be the second day of the first slalom series. To follow live, you can follow on this link: canski.live-timing.com. The women's race at Camp Fortune will start at 10:30am, after the men.
