Getting ready for competition season.

The women's program has been busy training on the east and west coast. The first fundamentals mammoth camp came back yesterday evening. We have another race prep group leaving for mammoth and Alaska today. The rest of the program is getting geared up for Vermont cups and races up in Canada later in December. We've been on snow free skiing with one day of brush gates for the past 2 weeks. Even though the snow isn't optimal we've had a pretty productive prep period! Hope everyone had awesome thanksgiving and your December holiday prep isn't too hectic!

Community Service day with Ski Patrol

The J1, 2 and 3 women and men met up with ski patrol at 8:30am sharp. Today, we helped set up safety pads on lift towers down Wild Fire and Snow Shed.

First Week at KMS!

6 inches!

We're psyched to have everyone back at school! During our first week, the women's team was keeping busy with class time, free skiing, dryland and testing. Our first day we tested each athlete on their strength, agility and power skills. These tests results determine the physical condition of each athlete. This way, we're able to develop individual workout plans for the fall and winter training. During the rest of the week, the women and men were able to jump on snow for some free skiing and drills.

Despite blasting snow guns, the women endured a solid training session on Friday.
